Description

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology in July 2011 for Cardinal Home Improvements on behalf of their clients. The watching brief took place during ground works for the construction of a new garage on land at Ashleigh House, 3 Church lane, Stanford-on-Avon, Northamptonshire (SMC S00009370). Made ground probably as a result of the infilling of an old water course or pond was noted within the investigation area. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were present.
