Description

{1} Archaeological observation and investigation was caried out during the preparation of foundations for a new building at a plot of land immediately to the north of No. 49 East Street, Stanwick. Ground reduction and trenching for strip foundations revealed that the site was truncated in the 20th century to install a large glasshouse with boiler room. There were no archaeological deposits or artefacts.
