Description

{1} The results of the survey were dominated by parallel linear anomalies, representing medieval ridge and furrow which survives on the site as slight earthworks. The layout of this ridge and furrow matches the open field arrangements depicted on a 1728 map produced by John, Duke of Montague. Weak anomalies, perhaps representing earlier archaeological features, were also detected.
