Description

The geophysical survey identified linear anomalies and an area of disturbance which matched post-medieval field boundaries and a pond marked on the first edition Ordnance Survey map. The trial trenches targeted these features and 'blank' areas in order to clarify the presence or absence of any further archaeological potential. As per the geophysical results, post-medieval hedgerows and a pond were indentified in the trial trenches. No further archaeology was observed. Information from OASIS Online Form.
