Description

A programme of archaeological observation, investigation and recording was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology on behalf of Anthony Rickett Architects in December 2011 during groundworks connected with the construction of a new dwelling on land at Hillcrest, Church Street, Blakesley, Northamptonshire. An undisturbed stratigraphy was recorded throughout most of the investigation area with occasional modern disturbance caused by vehicle movement in the southern half of the site. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were present.
