HER note 10/06/2014: survey not completed; visibility mapped; archaeology mapped; no historical mapping; some monument mapping done but needs checking. Report of 1997: Part of 1997 Yardley Chase survey. [Information from NRHE record: Part of Ancient Woodland Project: Woodland compartments systematically searched for sites & earthworks. (Specific findings from Olney Lane End not at present known to Excavation Index).Supplementary information from Mr P Malcolm, Forestry Commission. (E-mail 6. 8. 04.).Forestry Commission sources give a confused NGR for this site (SP 865 5445). the NGR used has been amended using OS 1:10000 1982 which shows Olney Lane End (wood) at SP 869 545.]
