Description

{1] An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by MOLA in February 2014 for the Clayson Group during the excavation of Test Pits at Water Lane, Towcester, Northamptonshire. A possible ditch was detected near the northern corner of the site. No evidence of the Alchester Roman road was detected in the test pits.
