Description

{1} Northamptonshire Archaeology was commissioned by CgMS Consulting (Midlands) on behalf of Whilton Marina to undertake a fieldwalking survey on the site of Cosgrove Roman Villa (SAM No NN119, NGR SP795421) The client is applying for planning permission for the development of an access road for Cosgrove Lodge Park. The works were undertaken in accordance with a Specification prepared by NA (2006). The survey recovered 169 finds, mostly relating to the Roman period.
