Description

A programme of archaeological observation, investigation and recording watching brief was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology, on behalf of Mr S Biggart, between November and December 2011 during groundworks for the construction of a new tennis court on land at St Rumbolds, 12 Upper Astrop Road, Kings Sutton, Northamptonshire. Undisturbed soils were present throughout the investigation area, with occasional pockets of modern disturbance. No pre-modern archaeological deposits or artefacts were present.
