Description

MOLA conducted as archaeological desk-based assessment of land at Mansion Hill, Middleton Cheney, Northamptonshire. There are no designated heritage assets within the site. A number of listed buildings lie in the historic core of the village, including the Grade I listed church. The north-eastern boundary of the site lies adjacent to the boundary of Middleton Cheney Conservation Area. No non-designated heritage assets have been identified within the site, although there is moderate potential for prehistoric/Roman features.
