Description

An archaeological investigation was conducted by Independent Archaeology Consultants for the construction of a new dwelling at 17 St Andrews Lane, Northamptonshire. The foundation trenches contained no archaeological features, but the foundation for an old garden wall was uncovered in the eastern part of the site. The deposits withi the site consisted otherwise largely of made ground. A copper coin from the 18th century was found in the topsoil. Site code: ALT15.
