Description

MOLA Northampton carried out an archaeological watching brief on land south of Elkington Lane, Barby, Northamptonshire, prior to the proposed development of the site. During the works eight geotechnical test pits were excavated. The majority of the stratigraphy was observed to have been previously disturbed or truncated, with no deposits of archaeological interest present.
