Description

Archaeological investigation was carried prior to the preparation of foundations for four new houses on land to the rear of 112 Irchester Road, Rushden, Northamptonshire. A considerable depth of colluvium was found to be present. Due to site constraints, particularly for soil storage, an iterative approach to the investigation was adopted. There was no buried soil horizon below the colluvium. There were no artefacts or archaeological features present. Information from OASIS Online Form.
