Description

{1} Due to site conditions only 11m of one trench was excavated. It was widened to 4m to compensate. Two small ditches and one posthole were recorded. One of these ditches contained a single abraded Roman pottery sherd but was considered likely to be a furrow, while the other ditch was likely to be medieval or earlier based on stratigraphy.
