Description

{1} A watching brief was undertaken during groundworks for alterations at Snorscomb Mill. The proposed works included some ground reduction and hard landscaping in an area directly south of the mill which is today part landscaped garden and part wooded land but was formerly part of the mill-race embankments. The watching brief revealed only late nineteenth-century deposits relating to the mill in its final form.
