Description

{1} Five trenches were excavated in advance of development. The earliest feature was a coal-rich pit thought potentially to relate to a dump of traction engine waste. A number of other features relate to post-medieval/modern agricultural water management. No evidence of archaeological features relating to the cropmarks was found.
