Description
{1} Site code: GRAY17. The site lies immediately adjacent to fields where the remains of a probable Iron Age settlement have been identified by geophysical survey and medieval ditches have been investigated by an evaluation of land to the north of the site. Despite this potential, no archaeological remains were encountered by the evaluation and visual scanning of the spoil and the use of a metal detector did not recover any artefactual material.
