Description

This geophysical survey is to form part of an archaeological evaluation of a proposed development site at Raunds, Northamptonshire. The survey was commissioned from Bartlett Clark Consultancy, Specialists in Archaeogeophysics of Oxford, by CgMs Consulting on behalf of Roxhill Developments Ltd. The site was found, as was expected on Jurassic bedrock, to be highly responsive to magnetic surveying. The survey results add considerable detail to the known archaeological record, but are broadly consistent with the previously identified findings as described in the DBA Information from OASIS Online Form.
