Description

{1} Eight trial trenches were proposed, although constraints caused by the machinery and stock still present within the factory, the four trenches proposed within the factory were replaced by a single test pit. No surviving archaeological deposits of medieval or earlier date were discovered. Evidence of a possible post-medieval quarry was encountered in the north of the development area. Site code: WSF586.
