Description

Witham Archaeology undertook a Historic Building Survey at Wadenhoe House, Wadenhoe, Northamptonshire. The works revealed a 17th century (built in 1657 according to a datestone) limestone built house comprising two ground floor rooms, 2 chambers above and garrets above. The building was adjoined by a cross-wing. A late 18th century extension was recorded, with victorian elements constructed during the residence of Chancellor of the Exchequer George Ward Hunt.
