Description

A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 26 hectares of arable farmland at Manor Farm. The survey identified former field boundaries and an area of ridge and furrow cultivation as the only probable archaeology on the site. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of modern or natural origin. The modern anomalies relate to agricultural activity, an underground service, a possible former pond, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing.
