Description

{1} Eight trial trenches were excavated all of which were devoid of archaeological features. Several modern feld drains, laid out in a herring-bone pattern, and plough scars, likely dating to the post-medieval period, were present confrming the results of the geophysical survey. A large fint scraper was recovered from an unstratifed context.
