Oasis reference: fieldsec1-337462 {1} Twelve trenches were laid out in a grid array across the field. Two main phases of activity, prehistoric and medieval to post-medieval, were identified. The prehistoric phase comprised two water-filled features at the north-west end end of the site, one of which contained a late Upper Palaeolithic long blade. The medieval to post-medieval phase consisted of fourteen furrows and a probable field boundary ditch.
