Description

{1} An extensive programme of archaeological attendance and scrutiny during groundworks for a new water supply to the custodian's cottage, a new car park and access route, a route for spoil storage and the manor courtyard and approach road, has shown that no significant archaeology has been exposed or damaged, vindicating the two years of archaeological evaluation and careful assessment and monitoring of the archaeological resource during the planning programme.
