Description

{1} A total of 5 evaluation trenches, measuring approximately 30m x 2m, were excavated across the site, which evaluated approximately 5.2% of the total development area. The remaining 3 trenches could not be excavated due to health and safety concerns. A 19th or 20th-century boundary ditch was identified in the northernmost portion of the site. There was evidence for intensive moern landscaping and ground levelling in the areas to the south of the site. No significant archaeological finds, features or deposits were identified during the course of the trial trench evaluation.
