Description

{1} A watching brief and limited excavation was carried out during the construction of a supermarket and six shops. The Roman road to Alchester and two other roads were located and associated with the street pattern as were a number of structures including the remains of a possible bath house, a large public building, strip buildings and industrial workshops. [no full excavation report exists]
