Description

{1} New drainage was put in at St Mary the Virgin Church, Grafton Regis. Mostly it replaced existing drains, and disturbed very little new ground, except for a 2m x 2m soakaway north-east of the church in which three articulated burials were located, with cuts for five other graves noted. Remains of two late 18th- or early nineteenth-century burials were discreetly excavated, assessed and reburied beneath the soakaway with sensitivity.
