Description

{1} Field and aerial survey of cropmarks of square enclosures south-west of Geese Bridge and adjacent to Watling Street. Interpreted as a possible 1st-2nd century Roman temple. The possibility that the temple is associated with the Roman carved stone at Stowe Church noted. [Parish=Cold Higham]
