Description

In February 2009 Archaeological Services and Consultancy Ltd prepared a desk-based assessment of the Grange Fields Sports Ground, Earls Barton, Northamptonshire. The assessment revealed that the development site lies within an area that contains a number of archaeological sites and that three areas of archaeological significance have been identified within the development site itself. While it is unlikely that these archaeological remains will preclude development, it is recommended that a phased programme of archaeological evaluation should be undertaken, in order to assess fully and define the extent and significance of these remains. Information from OASIS Online Form.
