Description

{1} Archaeological watching brief was carried out during the construction of a haulage road running from north to south through the centre of the site, the work primarily being involved with the removal of the uppermost topsoil deposits. No features or deposits of archaeological interest were observed during groundworks, and no artefactual material pre-dating the modern period was recovered.
