Description

{1} Seventeen trenches excavated in the two fields to the west of Oney Fields Farm in advance of the construction of a marina. Forms a second phase of trenching following on from Phase 1 undertaken in 2012. No significant archaeological deposits were revealed although well-preserved extant ridge and furrow was recorded along with a post-medieval gully or drain. No finds dating to earlier than the post-medieval period were recorded. [No trench plan in report]
