Description

Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd was commissioned by Courteenhall Estates to carry out an archaeological evaluation with the purpose of providing archaeological information as part of a planning condition (S/2020/1163/EIA) for the extension of poultry units with associated infrastructure, including attenuation pond and the installation of a ground source heat pump loop system. Nineteen trial trenches were excavated, of which all but one were devoid of archaeological features. This single trench contained two undated ditches. [Information from OASIS]
