Description

Geophysical survey of c31ha comprising three large arable fields. The geophysical survey identified three discrete groups of anomalies within the site. One of these groups (within the south-eastern corner of the site) had previously been identified from cropmarks. These anomaly groups apparently comprised complexes of enclosures, roundhouse ditches, pits and trackways. It was considered likely that they represented the remains of Iron Age/Roman farmsteads.
