Description
A Programme of archaeological observation, investigation, recording, analysis, and publication of works was undertaken by Pre-Develop Archaeology between 1st – 6th December 2021 during works comprising stripping of the modern topsoil and excavation of the foundation trenches associated with the construction of a newbuild dwelling house on land off Church Street, Hargrave. A linear feature was revealed which could represent Medieval/post-Medieval agriculture in the form of a furrow, no finds were encountered.
