Description
Oxford Archaeology East undertook archaeological trial trench evaluation between December 2021 and January 2022 across Trenches 104-146, 153, 158(A) and 160-165 at Glenvale Park, Wellingborough. The trenches investigated geophysical anomalies and areas of archaeological potential ahead of development. Archaeological remains were limited and comprised mainly isolated linear features, most of which produced no dating evidence. No significant settlement activity or well-defined archaeological complexes were identified within the event area.
