Description
Assessment prior to development did not identify any known archaeology within the study area. However, there are known medieval sites on three sides, and evidence of Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman and Anglo-Saxon activity has also been found in the vicinity. The high ground within the study area may well have been exploited in the past.
