Description
18 stretches of cable trenching was observed and no archaeological remains were recorded. Previous evaluation work involving geophysical survey and trial trenching identified Mid-Late Iron Age dispersed settlements. The development was redesigned to allow preservation in situ. Monitoring of groundworks was required in potential sensitive areas adjacent to these settlements.
