Description

Magnitude Surveys undertook a geophysical survey to assess the archaeological potential of c.21 ha of land north of Roman Road, Northampton West. The survey found evidence for a Iron Age or Roman settlement that comprised enclosures, pits, trackways and possible burnt features. There are also anomalies to suggest a possible unmapped quarry.
