Description

This historic building survey identified that the mill had a number of surviving external features from its original use. While internally there were numerous alterations which correspond to document alterations during the mill use as a cloths factory and later as an office. Most notable of these alterations are in the location of the stair, accesses within the building and also the internal arrangement and division of the building. There was also evidence found on site and in the archives for an additional building adjoining the main mill building and also the layout of uses of the building as a cloth mill. [Oasis online form]
