Description

Trent and Peak Archaeology were commissioned by the Lamport Estate to undertake a geoarchaeological window sample survey and archaeological test pitting as part of groundworks associated with a Countryside Stewardship scheme. The trial pit excavation demonstrated a lack of archaeological deposits in the areas of proposed shallow pond creation. The window sample survey demonstrated a low potential for the survival of palaeoenvironmental remains.
