Description

Area of site: approx. 2.5ha The geophysical survey revealed a number of anomalies of archaeological interest including a zone of probable ridge and furrow. Of most interest is a straight sided L-shaped linear anomaly, that could be part of a ditched enclosure. The anomaly is not obviously modern and is not aligned on the modern or historic field boundaries. This suggests that it may be of some antiquity.
