Description

This geophysical survey forms part of an archaeological evaluation of the site of a proposed quarry at Raunds, Northamptonshire. The site was found, as was expected on Jurassic bedrock, to be highly responsive to magnetic surveying. The survey results add to the known archaeological record, but are broadly consistent with the previously identified findings as indicated on the HER plan.
