Description

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken at Warkton. 14 trenches were opened, of which four contained archaeological features dating the medieval and post-medieval period. This activity comprised two pits, two ditches and furrows. The only artefacts comprised five sherds of medieval pottery and a small amount of animal bone. Nothing of archaeological significance was found.
