Description

A c. 6ha survey on the land at Milton Ham detected part of a Roman settlement, the adjacent southern end of which had been excavated in 2008. These remains lay at the eastern edge of the survey area and were cut through by two modern pipelines. Little of archaeological interest, apart from ridge and furrow, was detected across the remainder of the survey area.
