Description

A desk based assessment was carried out with regard to the demolition of the former Primary School buildings on the site and the proposed construction of a purpose-built girl’s boarding house for Oundle School at Milton Road, Oundle, North Northamptonshire PE8 4AB. The archaeological potential of the site has been assessed in overall terms as Moderate, withreference to encountering archaeological remains of medieval and post-medieval date. The potential to encounter remains of Prehistoric and Romano-British date are assessed as Low.
