Description
The desk based assessment concluded that the site lies in an area of moderate archaeological potential for the Medieval period. There are low remains of ridge and furrow earthworks present in both areas. The wider area has seen little archaeological investigation. The absence of previous development on site makes it possible that any below ground-archaeology that might be present will have survived undisturbed, therefore it may be neccesary for further investigation to be carried out on the proposal site prior to any groundworks taking place
