Description
Window sample and cable percussive/rotary boreholes. Made ground was encountered to depths of between 0.3m and 4.1m bgl. Made ground in excess of 2.5m thickness was present across the central and northern areas. Bedrock was encountered in the majority; residually weathered sandstone was encountered from depths of between 0.3m and 4.1m bgl to a maximum depth of 8.5m. Extremely weak to very weak mudstone was present beneath the sandstone from depths of between 5.4m and 8.9m bgl and to the full depth of the rotary boreholes, ie 21m bgl. Locally, limestone beds were encountered in BH03 and BH04.
