Description
The DBA was produced in advance of proposed development at Middleton Cheney Sewage Treatment Works. Archaeological remains within the footprint of the current STW are likely to have been removed by works during its construction. However, there is the potential for both known and unknown archaeological remains to survive beneath the level of the made ground or in areas of limited disturbance The data gathered from within the study area suggests that there may be medium to high potential for archaeoloigcal remains of the Medieval period. The other periods have been deemed to be of low potential.
