Description
Fieldwalking survey identified five worked flints but only a 'disappointing return…in terms of pottery, suggesting that the field may have spent much of its history under grass due to the lack of manuring scatter'. No Roman pottery was recovered, but one possible Saxo-Norman sherd, three early medieval sherds and three late medieval sherds were found.
