Description

{1} This was a re-examination of the 1961 site. Excavation was undertaken due to deep ploughing of the site which was potentially damaging the archaeology. No known report exists. Finds from this investigation were formerly thought to be held by the Manor House Museum (formerly the Westfield Mueum), Kettering. A recent attempt to locate them has, however, proved fruitless. (M Cavanagh, Manor House Museum, e-mail 27. 10. 03.).
